HAM grew up in the State of Washington, US where the dreary, rainy weather of the northwest US lit off what would become his love of heavy dark music. Starting off listening to “Guns and Roses” moving to “Metallica” and an assortment of most brutal Christian Metal he could find, the foundation of metal was laid and for many years his mind was made up about what HE thought was metal.
Several years later and having to relocated to Arizona, US, HAM discovered hardcore and more extreme metal and while playing in a hardcore band he was exposed to and wrote classic and new school metalcore music. Then there was a hiatus… the dreaded hiatus of metal whilst serving in the US Navy for over nine years where HAM listened to country, some rap and more radio friendly metal.
After being honorably discharged from active duty, HAM rediscovered metal. He heard some crazy chick in her “Wolfden” named STR1KER on the interweb radio and thought, “well shit, I wanna do this…” Now it was time to fully bring on what he loved with a vengeance!!!
He hooked up with The Native and gave some of those bands he had “heard of” but through ignorance and thinking he “knew it all” had discounted and ignored in his teen years a second chance. HAM credits liquor, his fellow and past hosts, their shows and the many conversations with that Native dude for the rise in his level of knowledge and love for all things metal.
From February 2010 to the present, HAM consistently brings what he loves to the metal airwaves and in March 2014 it led to starting Venom Radio. He’s not an expert by ANY means on any style, but a huge fan of all sorts of metal. His goal is to bring a kick ass show to the listener and maybe expose them to something they may find interesting.

Hoppah’s Rock & Roll Overdose
FRIDAYS – 6:00PM-8:00PM US Pacific 8:00PM-10:00PM US Central 9:00PM-11:00PM US Eastern
“Hoppah’s Rock and Roll Overdose” plays rock & metal from the 70’s and up on Fridays at 8:00PM-10:00PM US Eastern unless otherwise noted. Hoppah has a tendency to raid the stream as he feels a LIVE host is always better than Auto-DJ, so keep an eye on the Venom Radio Facebook page!
Hoppah’s love of music started at an early age with his mother and grandmother both of whom loved to play music (or “musical instruments”. If you play music, obviously you are playing an instrument of some sort). Growing up in a house where music was a common occurance, he listened to music on a daily basis and this continues to this very day. His musical talents are wide as he listens to several genres of music but the deepest catalog of Hoppah’s musical library consists of music from the 80’s including such bands as Badlands, Dokken, Def Leppard, Rush, Van Halen and of course, Pink Floyd. So grab your chair, get that drink filled then sit back and remember the days gone by! Get ready for a mix of rock & metal blasting from your speakers just like it did in the glory days of the 80’s when you were cruising!

Hailing from Tornado Alley, The Native brings the groove as only he can. As he always says, “If it grooves, it gets played–nuff said!”
You can expect anything from classic rock like the “The James Gang”, heavy metal standards like “Judas Priest” and last–but certainly not least–extreme metal like “Obituary” and everything in between. The Native has also been known to do a classic power ballad set–**Disclaimer-Kleenex not included!**
Having been a music fan his entire existence, Native has come to appreciate many forms of music but his true calling has always been hard rock and metal. Somewhere around 2005, Native began helping and creating set list for other hosts, this opportunity lead to The Almighty Groove taking life. Using The Almighty Groove, The Native has honed his skills to become the host he is today and has also been a mentor to the other hosts at Venom Radio.
Check out the show and if you have any requests for airplay, please email the Native at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Native thanks you and appreciates everyone that listens!
Be sure to tune in on Sundays.

Hailing from the Great Lakes area of the US, Leadfoot’s introduction to music came young; growing up on a mixture of The Beatles and Classic Rock. His gateway to Hard Rock and Metal came when he heard the opening line to the opening track of Alive: “You wanted the best and you got it! The Hottest Band in the World…KISS!”. Surviving on a diet of KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin, etc., Leadfoot’s addiction to Heavy Metal and all forms of music would be finally cemented in 1987 when he heard the blistering guitar work and thrash grooves of The Big 4: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.
Fast Forward to 2007, Leadfoot merged the DJ skills he developed back in his early 20’s with his love for all things rock and metal in his first foray into his internet radio show: Maximum Overdrive. Now, after a brief hiatus from being on-air, Leadfoot is back with a vengeance with a new show, a new station and is leaving nothing standing in his wake.
Leadfoot takes on the role of The Ringmaster in his new show: The Electric Circus. In this three-ring circus, you will hear hard rock, metal, punk, thrash, hard-core, crossover–you name it! Catering the show to ALL OF YOU MUSIC SIDE SHOW FREAKS, he will make you feel right at home under this new big top: Venom Radio.
Come join him for 3 Hours of Electrified Insanity on Sundays and let your freak flag fly!
